Your support of HelpMeFind is urgently needed. HelpMeFind, like all websites, needs funding to survive. We have set a premium-membership yearly subscription amount as low as possible to make user-community funding viable.

We are grateful to the many members who have signed up so far, but the number of premium-membership members remains too small for us to sustain the current support and development level. If you value HelpMeFind and want to see it continue we need your support too.

Yearly membership is only $2.00 per month and adds a host of additional features, and numerous planned enhancements, to take full advantage of the power and convenience of HelpMeFind. Click here to start your premium membership..

We of course also welcome donations of any amount. Click here to make a donation. Donations of $24 or more receive a thank-you gift of a 1-year premium membership.

As far as we have come, we feel HelpMeFind is still in its infancy. With your support we have so much more to accomplish.

Columbus Queen The petals are very firm in texture. The light pink with deeper reverse, long buds open to a well-formed bloom on long stems. Growth is upright and strong, and should appeal to floral arrangements.

Mrs. Margaret E. Coon, Columbus, Ohio. a Review of the Latest Roses in America.
Columbus Queen , HT. D. Armstrong and H. Swim (La Jolla x unnamed seedling) was named for Columbus, Ohio, as the American Rose Society celebrated its tenth birthday of having its headquarters there. While the variety is slightly susceptible to black spot, its exhibition and decorative qualities are becoming known, and this former factor is being overlooked. The two-tone pink, light outside, darker inside, bloom is long pointed and double. Has good lasting qualities and the stems are long. The blooms remind many of two older roses, 'First Love' and 'Picture', for form.

Columbus Queen HT. (D. L. Armstrong and H. C. Swim) Large, very shapely buds, with 25 or so firm petals. The bloom has a good centre and the petals stand out firmly from it. The colour is a soft pleasing pink on the inside, darker reverse. Very good growth, free flowering, average height, and very disease resistant. This is unquestionably an excellent variety. ( 'La Jolla' x Unnamed Seedling).

Columbus Queen, HT. (Swim, 1963) 'La Jolla' x Seedling. Bigger and better than 'Mrs. Henry Morse' and this one is not smothered with mildew. A two-tone pink that is consistent, beautiful, up to show standard, free blooming and vigorous.
