White, blush shading. Mild fragrance. Large, very full (41+ petals), flat, rounded bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer. Leafy sepals, long sepals, rounded buds.
Habit:
Well-branched. 5 to 7 leaflets.
Height: 4'11" (150cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 7b through 8b. Prune after flowering is finished.

Notes:
Bernard-Germain-Étienne de La Ville-sur-Illon, Comte de Lacépède (December 26, 1756 – October 6, 1825), French naturalist and politician. Comte Charles de Lacépède from Epinay St. Denis was a member of the Société d'Horticulture de Paris in 1828 (see Annales etc. p. 333). August-Charles, Comte de Lacépède, became member of the Cercle Général d'Horticulture in 1844.
