Just for fun I counted the petals today on one rose - 12 full size, plus 3 that hadn't grown fully. I think that is why the flowers don't last very long. 15 petals on this type of rose is not really enough ... Also the Crepe de Chine that I have isn't very vigourous, so doesn't produce many flowers. The nicest thing is the colour, very attractive.
