Bred by Alain Meilland (1940-....) (France, before 1987).
Introduced in France by Meilland et Cie in 1989 as 'Destiny'.

Bloom:
White to pink.  The blossoms are French Rose edged and suffused with Rose Bengal..  None / no fragrance.  25 to 30 petals.  Average diameter 3.25".  Medium, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, in small clusters, flat to cupped bloom form.  Prolific, continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, rounded, well-branched.  Bronze-green, dense foliage.  

Height: 35" (90cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower, garden or landscape.  Vigorous.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

The female parent (i.e., the seed parent) of the new variety was the Meicadol variety (nonpatented in the United States). The male parent (i.e., the pollen parent) of the new variety was the Magic Carrousel variety (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 3,601).... The rose plants of the new variety were three years of age and were observed during June while budded on Rose froebelli understock and growing outdoors at LeCannet-des-Maures, Var, France.
