Exhibition name: Hulthemia hardii
Origin:
Bred by Julien-ALEXANDRE Hardy (France, before 1835).
Introduced in France by Cels frères in 1836 as 'Rose de Hardy'.
Class:
Hybrid Hulthemia persica, Species Cross.  
Bloom:
Yellow, red flecks.  Yellow with orange spot at base of petal.  Mild fragrance.  5 petals.  Average diameter 2".  Medium, single (4-8 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Dark green foliage.  5 to 7 leaflets.  

Height: 6' to 9' (185 to 275cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Benefits from winter protection in colder climates.  prefers dry climates.  prefers warmer sites.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to Mildew.
