Origin:
Bred by Samuel Davidson McGredy III (United Kingdom, before 1925).
Introduced in France by Grandes Roseraies du Val de la Loire in 1927 as 'Margaret McGredy'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1928 as 'Margaret McGredy'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Orange - scarlet, geranium-red shading, deep pink reverse, golden-yellow shading.  Moderate, violets fragrance.  30 to 40 petals.  Very large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright, well-branched.  Glossy, light green, leathery foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Vigorous.
