'Edel' rose Reviews & Comments

Hello Everyone,
I am looking for the rose named "Edel". I have searched fo it and as of yet cannot find anywhere I can buy this rose. A dear friend named Edl recenly died and I am trying to locate the rose to plnt in her memory.
If anyone has information on where I migh be able o purchase this rose I would be eternally grateful if you could share the information. I am living in Ireland but would be willing to ship the rose from anywhere.

I am afraid Edel is no longer in commerce. However, I understand that it is possible to make a request (might be refused due to the state of the rose), explaining the reason, to the Roseraie du Val de Marne (see Gardens tab) for a rooted cutting, from which a rose can be grown.

Yes, I had a look around for you, didn't look very hopeful. I think Jedmar has a good idea there. Their website even has a forum, with a section on exchanging, etc.. It might work better if you can manage to ask them in French ...
Otherwise I got as far as New Zealand, maybe some chance over there ... Good luck, at any rate.
