Origin:
Discovered by Edmond Dubos jeune (France, before 1846).
Introduced by Unknown (Australia) in before 1861 as 'Célina Dubos'.
Class:
Damask Perpetual, Hybrid Perpetual, Portland.  
Bloom:
White, light pink shading.  Strong, sweet fragrance.  Average diameter 3".  Medium, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
According to Jules Margottin, 'Celina Dubos' can revert to 'Rose du Roi', but rarely. The 1849 reference by Dubos states that 'Sélima Dubos' is a sport of 'Capitaine Rénard', which in turn, is a seedling of 'Rose du Roi'.
