'Carmen' rose Description

ARS:
Medium red Hybrid Rugosa. Registration name: Carmen (hybrid rugosa, Lambert, 1906)
Bloom:
Dark red. Moderate fragrance. Medium to large, single (4-8 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, flat to cupped bloom form. Occasional repeat later in the season.
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, upright. Large, dark green foliage.
Height: up to 6'7" (up to 200cm). Width: up to 4' (up to 120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b and warmer. Hardy. vigorous.
