'Shannon'. Hybrid tea. syn MACnon. This rose bears large, high-centered, medium pink flowers that repeat rhrough the season. Foliage is dark green on a tall, vigorous, upright plant. In a warm climate it will grow to 1.5m (5 ft). Make sure you deadhead this rose for best flower production. ('Queen Elizabeth' x 'McGredy's Yellow'). Zones 6-9.

'Shannon' N.R.S. rating 6.9. 4-5ft. Some exhibition blooms, some split centres, shapely but inclined to burn in hot sun. Stems and foliage can be rather coarse. Usually healthy and vigorous. Somehow not quite up to exhibitors' expectations.
