Brown to the ground, first winter, zone 5b. Might still come back, but April 19th it's fully brown. Fingers crossed.

AND as of May 16th it's sending up like 3 new canes so far. Hopefully it will have a better winter next year, but, at least it's not a goner. Definitely needs to be own root for zone 5 as it came back from roots, if it was grafted it would have been root stock coming back instead.
