Heirloom roses has pictures with pink around the edges, but Rouge Valley Roses, has a picture with only yellow...any ideas why, both have the same name and breeder?

This rose is highly mutable depending on weather conditions at time of flowering.

French Perfume has grown as a grafted plant in our zone 5 garden (Sunset 2) for about 10 years. It tends to sucker from the rootstock, but there is no remarkable winter die-back.

Sandra675,
We moved your photos to the French Perfume plant page - they're such wonderful photo it would be a shame to have them missed unless site guests read the comments.

In my zone 7 garden French Perfume grows 5 feet tall and 3 wide. It produces nicely frangrat blooms but there are not many of them. It is fertile as both a seed and pollen parent.

This stunning, gorgeous rose has bloomed profusely in my garden- zone 5 -, for the past 9 years. It does not require winter protection. However, I plant all my roses exceptionally deep here.

Please help me find this french perfume rose. I had a bush years ago but heve moved and can't find it anywhere. Please send me the address and telephone number of the nursery who carries this rose and will sell to homeowners. Most nurseries I've called only sell the vendors.

I saw French Perfume this last summer at Regan Nursery in Fremont, CA. I don't see it in their current bareroot list, but you could check with them about its availability. Their website is www.regannursery.com .

Heirloom roses in oregon carries French Perfume on it's own roots. if it's not on their website, call them. It's listed in the 2009 catalog.
