There is a strong, really complex, delicious and unsual scent to the freshly opened blooms, which is very unlike the classical scent of its parent Ena Harkness. If anything, it reminds me *a bit* of the neroli-like scent of David Austin's Buttercup (note: to describe the scent of Buttercup as neroli-like is itself an approximation). However, the scent seems to go away on the day after the bloom has fully opened, and then you're left with a long-lasting but scentless bloom.
