McGredy UK 1968.

The Final Analysis 1973-74 Season.
'Brasilia'. N.R.S. rating 5.6. (McGredy). 'Kordes Perfecta' x 'Picadilly'. Very striking colour when first out - velvety scarlet and gold - but a shocker when it ages, which is too quickly. It opens quickly and doesn't produce enough blooms. Upright thorny growth and good foliage.
Book  (1971)  Page(s) 74.  Includes photo(s).

Plate 114. the hybrid tea 'Brasilia' is named after the new capital of Brazil. It is descended from the rose 'Piccadilly' and keeps its main characteristics, but the colour is more intense and there is a greater contrast between the bright red of the petals and the yellow that is revealed on them when the flower opens completely. The leaves are dark green and particularly shiny.
Book  (1969)  Page(s) 95.

'Brasilia' Introduced by McGredy in 1967, this fascinating bi-color is a rich salmon color almost to red, with yellow on the reverse. The exquisite long buds form slowly and the blooms are lovely from bud to when they are spent. Glistening foliage is disease resistant.
