Book (1965) p14. Roy and Heather Rumsey, NSW. New Roses. Evensong HT. (D. M. Arnot) A rich salmon pink flower with 25 or so petals moulded into a well-shaped bloom. Very nice tinted foliage with good healthy growth. It is flowering very well here, and is a most attractive variety, particularly for bedding. ('Ena Harkness' x 'Sutter's Gold').
p83. Dr. A. S. Thomas, New Roses in Victoria. Evensong HT. (Croll, 1963) 'Ena Harkness' x 'Sutter's Gold'. Beautifully formed large blooms of deep pink colouring which resembles that of 'Charlotte Armstrong' but with a little orange added to it. Vigorous. A delightful garden rose and up to exhibition standard. Very little perfume.
