Single Roses
These are Hybrid Tea Roses with single or almost single flowers, and require the same culture and care as the other Hybrid Teas. They are often called the "Irish Singles", although they are not all of Irish origin. The buds are especially fine, but the open flowers are rather perishable although they are very freely produced.
Irish Glory. Hybrid Tea. (A. Dickson & Sons, 1900.) Very large blooms, silvery pink on inside of petals, reverse crimson; deliciously perfumed. Very vigorous and floriferous.
A wonderfully bright and charming color.
