'Gletscher' rose Description

Mauve or mauve blend Hybrid Tea. Registration name: Gletscher
Bloom:
Mauve or purple blend. Pale lilac. Strong fragrance. Large, double (17-25 petals), in large clusters, cupped, high-centered bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Medium, bushy, compact, upright. Glossy foliage.
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes:
From the Vintage Gardens web site:
"Though we have not been able to trace this name and suspect it is an error, this rose is so delightful we know many who will want to grow it. Soft lavender flowers, double, cupped, fragrant, and small for an HT, on a compact plant. Flowers double and fragrant; very like some of the early introductions of Tantau and LeGrice."
