Introduced in France by C. Chambard in 1915 as 'Mademoiselle Louise Cretté'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in before 1921 as 'Louise Cretté'.

Bloom:
White, cream center.  Moderate, apple fragrance.  55 petals.  Average diameter 6.5".  Very large, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Large, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Tall, bushy, climbing, few or no prickles/thorns, upright, well-branched.  Large, dark green foliage.  3 to 5 leaflets.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Blooms tend to ball in wet weather.
