Bred by Marie-Louise (Louisette) Meilland (Paolino) (1920-1987) (France, before 1975).
Introduced in France by Meilland et Cie in 1975.
Class:
Miniature.  
Bloom:
Vermilion.  None / no fragrance.  15 petals.  Average diameter 1.5".  Semi-double (9-16 petals), in large clusters, cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Well-branched.  Semi-glossy, dark green foliage.  

Height: up to 16" (up to 40cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).
