Courage Rose COURAGE ™ ROSE ( var. meicarima ) A tough and ready floribunda carrying a rose bloom that is shaped typically like that of a Hybrid Tea. The fragrance is fresh and fruity. The blooms are a deep rich red against the backdrop of a deep green leaf. The growth is compact and neat, making it perfect for low borders and hedges. It teams beautifully with roses like ‘Edelweiss’, ‘Fruitee’ and ‘Gold Bunny’.

'Courage' The new Meilland rose is to be known as 'Courage'. (Variety MEIcairma). PBR pending 94/129. It is a low, tidy bush, approx. 900mm high, and approx. 800mm wide. The well-formed, lightly-fragrant flowers are deepest red/crimson, showing excellent tolerance to our hot summer. It is a unique combination, as there are few roses that offer the classic style of bloom in a free-flowering, small bush. It could be grown in either the garden, or a medium-to-large pot.

The rich, deep red blooms of classic form are freely borne on a compact tidy bush, with healthy dark green foliage to compliment the attractive flowers. With the habit of growth less than one metre, 'Courage' is an ideal choice as a neat bedding plant, or for a border or low hedge. As a cut flower the keeping qualities are excellent.
