'Mary Wheatcroft' was one of the best roses out of a reluctant mother: 'Mrs Sam McCredy' x 'Princess Marina', that is if Herbert's memory was right, for it was in his head that the parentages were filed, and I would not bet very heavily on factual accuracy down to the finer points.

The flowers carry 25 petals while the stems are very thorny. A very beautiful variety. Will probably do best in dry or cold climates. 10/6 each.
