Introduced in France by Henri Guillot in 1930 as 'Président Briand'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1932 as 'Président Briand'.

Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Pink, salmon-pink shading, mauve shading.  Moderate fragrance.  Very large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long buds.  
Habit:
Tall, few or no prickles/thorns, upright.  Light green, wrinkled (rugose) foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Vigorous.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to Mildew.
