How many petals does this rose have? Cliff's photos show 5, but other pictures show more.

It seems more on the single side than semi-double. What would you choose?

I don't care what you call it. Cliff's photos show five petals, while other photos show more, 8-10 maybe. I assume these photos are all of the same rose. Maybe it has fewer petals in a hot climate, like Cliff's desert garden?
