Bloom:
Red, yellow stamens. None to mild fragrance. 15 to 20 petals. Average diameter 2.5". Small, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered, in large clusters, cupped bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Medium, pointed, ovoid buds.
Habit:
Short, spreading. Medium, glossy, dark green, leathery foliage. 5 to 7 leaflets.
Height: 2' to 30" (60 to 75cm). Width: 5' to 7' (150 to 215cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, garden or ground cover. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) . Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).

This cultivar is NOT a Banksiae rose, despite the commercial name. One of the roses (listed as 'Canterbury') in the Rose Introducers of New Zealand (RINZ) 1998 Display Trial. Heirloom Old Garden Roses says Red Ribbons (which is known as 'Chilterns' in England -- the Chilterns are a range of hills that lie northwest of London) has clusters of nicely formed, rich crimson blooms...
Ludwigs Roses says 'Fiery Sunsation' is the most exciting red Groundcover rose to date.
