This cultivar is NOT a Banksiae rose, despite the commercial name. One of the roses (listed as 'Canterbury') in the Rose Introducers of New Zealand (RINZ) 1998 Display Trial. Heirloom Old Garden Roses says Red Ribbons (which is known as 'Chilterns' in England -- the Chilterns are a range of hills that lie northwest of London) has clusters of nicely formed, rich crimson blooms...
Ludwigs Roses says 'Fiery Sunsation' is the most exciting red Groundcover rose to date.
