Kordes, Allemagne, 1974. ‘Colour Wonder’ x semis.

Wienerwald HT. (R. Kordes 1974), ('Konigin der Rosen' x seedling). Salmon form which lasts for days. Strong perfume. Profuse flowering and splendid growth. Ideal as a decorative rose and usually big enough as a specimen bloom. Would make a wonderful hedge. It is in the same colour group as 'Sonia' but it is far better in the open garden—'Sonia' excels under glass. One of the finest few roses of all time.  My five two-year-old plants are most rewarding.

Wienerwald (Kordes). We correct our spelling from last year's Annual. The release was also delayed for a year, so we mention again that this is a good orange pink, double, with nicely reflexed petals.

Weiner Wald HT. (Kordes). A lovely colour of soft vermilion to orange pink tonings, clear and beautiful. The blooms have about forty petals, are very nicely formed and long lasting. Foliage is good and repeat flowering most satisfactory.
