Lord Charlemont, late autumn, Perth, Western Australia.
I have not captured the true colour here. It should be a deeper crimson.

This is flower from back in march 2019. I didn't post it at the time as it was relatively small and inferior but it is the best I will ever have as the plant has succumbed to waterlogging in our extraordinarily sodden winter. The better flowers were quite flat, had many relatively narrow petals, and were multicoloured red, crimson and purple, more a mixture that you see in gallicas than in HTs. The plant was a very poor grower. It was ex Thomas for Roses and looks like the pictures from Ruston's. Clearly there are several different roses labelled Lord Charlemont.

The true colour is more crimson than this photo suggests.
