Herbert C. Swim. Newer Roses Offered in the United States for 1947-48
Mrs. Dudley Fulton was introduced a number of years ago but never obtained more than a quite limited distribution. It has been used quite a great deal in Southern California in creating a special landscape effect and has often been called the Evergreen Shrub Rose. It is characterised by an almost evergreen habit in mild climates and by numerous fine bursts of bloom throughout the growing season. Pinkie has inherited the persistent glossy foliage of Mrs. Dudley Fulton.

Mrs. Dudley Fulton
(871-26). Dwarf Polyantha. Chance seedling. A large, single, silver-white flower, produced throughout the season in great profusion. It is particularly worth while because its petals drop cleanly and do not discolor as is the case with most light-colored Polyanthas. Foliage varnished and perfect; growth medium.
