Lady Ashtown - No 37 from 1912 Wills's Cigarette Rose Cards (set of 50 cards). Text on reverse: LADY ASHTOWN. (Hybrid Tea.) The flowers are large, full, with perfect pointed centre, and it is undoubtedly one of the leading roses in this section for bedding purposes and for exhibition. Being quite hardy, and vigorous in habit of growth, it requires very little pruning, except when grown for exhibition purposes. Introduced in 1904.
