Bloom:
Crimson, darker shading, carmine-red highlights. Moderate fragrance. Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped, scalloped bloom form. Occasional repeat later in the season.
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes:
Jean Liabaud, senior horticulturalist at La Croix-Rousse, near Lyon (Rhone) said that it took seven years for his namesake rose to flower. See References.
