'Catalonia' rose Reviews & Comments

I planted this o/b Catalonia rose in Spring of 2007 from a budded maiden. It took until the Fall of the year to start blooming, but it was worth the wait. The blooms I am now getting are big, fragrant, and colorful. It has good petal substance which make the rose last a good 10-12 days on the bush and it refrigerates well and makes a good vase rose for the house. I would recommend this one to anyone wanting a true orange hybrid tea rose to enjoy in their garden. This is a good one. UPDATE 2009--This rose has really taken off this year and I look for it to just keep improving. The bush is vigorous and healthy. It grows tall and blooms consistantly and heavily. The blooms are quite large and a clear beautiful orange color and last a good long time in the vase or on the bush. I would recommend this "oldie but goodie" for anyone wanting a good orange garden rose.
