Bred by Samuel Darragh (1932-2019) McGredy IV (1987).
Introduced in New Zealand by McGredy Roses International (New Zealand) in 1995 as 'Too Hot to Handle'.
Introduced in Switzerland by Rosen Huber in circa 2005 as 'Heinrich Siesmayer'.
Class:
Climber, Large-Flowered Climber, Shrub.  
Bloom:
Orange or orange-red.  Scarlet.  Mild fragrance.  25 petals.  Average diameter 2.75".  In small clusters bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:
Tall, climbing, upright.  Large, glossy, dark green, dense foliage.  

Height: 4'11" to 12' (150 to 365cm).  Width: 6' to 10' (185 to 305cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Breeder's notes:
Too Hot to Handle - Macloupri. Nicknamed Louis Prima.

Notes:
Apuldram Roses says this rose can be grown as either a shrub or a small climber... Large clusters of double, blood red flowers are produced on long shoots...
