Tempie Lee Hybrid Tea. J.O. Whittington, 1999... Every once in awhile, a rose will mutate a new color and that's what happened to J.O. Whittington's plant of 'Elizabeth Taylor' right in his garden. Instead of a deep pink, he saw a lovely pink blend bloom and named it for his wife. The two-toned pink has wonderful exhibition form and really excels in the South and Midwest where it stays warm at night... slightly susceptible to mildew...
