Burling Leong nicknamed this rose "Nutshop" because of its R. nutkana ancestry. It was found growing on the Sequoia Nursery property by Burling and Kim Rupert and rescued from certain demise circa 2002. It is the parent of a seedling of mine called 90-02-02:
