Modern, large-flowered/ hybrid tea. Yellow blend, repeat-flowering. ‘Great Venture’ is an excellent rose. The plants are very strong and upright with plentiful large, dark green, leathery leaves that are very resistant to disease. The long buds open slowly to large, fragrant, double flowers of 30 petals. The color is rich apricot-yellow flushed with deep pink. With its long stems and abundant foliage, it is good for cutting. Zones 5-9. Dawson Australia 1970. Parentage: ‘Daily Sketch’ x ‘Suspense’.
