Hardy Climbing Roses
Klondyke. Hybrid Wichuraiana. (Paul & Sons, 1911.) Rather large, double flowers of soft yellow with deeper center, becoming ivory-white with age, borne in numerous clusters on trailing or climbing plants.
Late. Close to the original Wichuraiana in habit, and may be similarly used as a trailer. We consider it as the best of the various yellow climbers of this class, both in flower and foliage.

Wichuraiana and its Hybrids.
The varieties comprising this class are of unique and charming beauty, and form lovely objects in the garden while in bloom. They are suitable for rockery, sloping banks, pillars, pergolas, arches, &c. They are very lovely grown as standards.
Weeping Standards, 4 to 5 feet, 5/- each; 5 to 6 feet, 7/6 to 10/6 each; 6 feet and over, 10/6 to 15/- each.
Klondyke (Hybrid Wichuraiana)... Paul & Son, 1911, very vigorous. Yellow, paling to primrose as the flowers age. This variety might be termed an "improved Gardenia", the flowers being larger and the bunches more extended and more fragrant.

Paul et Sons, rosiéristes à Cheshunt (Angleterre), ont lancé dans les cultures, en juin 1911, les nouveautés ci-après : KLONDYKE (Hybride de Wichuraiana). — Cette nouvelle rose fait partie de la série créée par MM. Paul et Sons, et qui commence par Shower of Gold, dont elle est le digne pendant. D'une vigueur très grande, munie d'un superbe feuillage, sa fleur est jaune, pa.ssant au primevère, moyenne, en gros bouquets.
