From 1926 series of Wills's cigarette cards (No 3) CAPTAIN F. S. HARVEY-CANT. (Hybrid Tea.) This rose has a delightful perfume, and is of unsurpassed merit both as an exhibition and decorative rose, for almost any soil and situation. The flowers are large, of magnificent build, with high pointed centres of great substance, and are freely and continuously produced. Introduced in 1923, and awarded the Gold Medal of the National Rose Society, as well as the Award of Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society.
