China or Bengal Roses
These are everblooming Roses of most profuse habit, although their flowers are not as large or of such shape and substance as the Hybrid Teas. They are excellent sorts for massing or edging, for which purpose they are only rivaled by the Polyanthas. Their wood is slender, their foliage small, and they are continually in bloom.
Titania. (W. Paul & Son, 1915.) Burning red buds of attractive shape and nearly single orange flowers with petals often toothed. Moderate in growth and bloom.
Color is unusually attractive but it fades quickly. One of the most popular Chinas for garden ornamentation.

Titania (W. Paul & Son, 1915) is a little more orange in color [than 'Queen Mab], but otherwise very similar.

"New Roses for the Garden" by Charles E. F. Gersdorff
'Blends' is the term which for convenience I give to new color combinations that have appeared in our Hybrid-teas in recent years. Some beautiful and fascinating colorings have been obtained and such blooms are truly the aristocrats of the garden.
[...] England, Ireland, and America have not been backward in competition with France, in the production of these beautiful Blends. [...] Titania (a China Rose, from Paul & Son, 1915) is a wonderful variety for bedding purposes. In color on the order of Mme. Herriot, a little lighter, being coppery crimson, opening to deep salmon with clear yellow base; it is more double and a fine bloomer.
Website/Catalog  (1922)  Page(s) 31.

General List. (156) Titania (HT) (W. Paul) 3. Coppery salmon blooms of medium size and good shape. A prostrate growing variety which should not be overlooked, as there are too few of this colour.
Website/Catalog  (1921)  Page(s) 37.
