Origin:

Bred by François Lacharme (France, 1862).
Introduced in Australia by Thomas Lang in 1866 as 'Madame Alfred de Rougemont'.

Class:

Hybrid Noisette, Hybrid Perpetual.

Bloom:

White, pink shading, carmine-pink edges. Moderate fragrance. up to 50 petals. Average diameter 2.25". Medium, very full (41+ petals), cluster-flowered, globular bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Habit:

Height: 28" to 35" (70 to 90cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Feed this rose well.
