Here is a reference for Sammetglut:

"Sammetglut, Kordes Sons 34, semi-double; dark crimson; large clusters; 8cm; no fragrance; 60cm high; well branched; upright, wide bush, floriferous, healthy, hardy"

The 34 is probably a typo, as parent Holstein is from 1938.

Similarly, Kardinal annot be the Kardinal bred by Kordes in 1986. Lambert lists another Hybrid Tea called Kardinal as follows:

"Kardinal (Max Krause 34) Flowers high-centered, cup-shaped, stand upright on strong stems. The bud is blackish red, which booms into a fiery scarlet. Sometimes blackish spots. Regular and dense growth. Foliage healthy and free from sickness."

Source: Peter Lambert, "Rosen, Obst und Zierbäume", Trier 1938/39

Both Kardinal from Krause and Sammetglut are at Sangerhausen.
