Origin:
Bred by François Lacharme (France, 1874).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1882 as 'Comtesse de Serenye'.

Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Light pink, carmine-pink shading.  Large, full (26-40 petals), globular, nodding or "weak neck" bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to Mildew.
