'Panorama' rose References
Book (1950) p13. Harry H. Hazlewood. The New Roses of 1950. Panorama HT. (McGredy 1943). Large globular blooms of rose pink with a silvery reverse. In most bicolor blooms the outer face shows yellow, but in this instance the contrast between pink and white does not appeal to all.
p142. Dr. A. S. Thomas. A Victorian Summary I have seen some excellent plants and blooms of Panorama in other people's gardens. Colour plates of this bicolour rose decided me not to grow it. The combination of carmine and cream is rather bizarre though novel. I have ordered some plants for 1950 planting, however.
Book (1944) Page(s) 231. Panorama. HT. Issued to Walter Irwin Johnston, Portadown, Ireland; assigned to Jackson & Perkins Co., Newark, N. Y., February 8, 1944, No. 614.
