Grace Moore  HT. (Kordes, 1949)  Comes from the man who gave us roses like 'Cathrine Kordes', 'Crimson Glory', 'Heinrich Wendland' and very many others. It is a fairly vigorous grower with rich deep red blooms borne on well branched plants and is decidedly an acquisition. This rose has the unique distinction of being the first to be televised, an event which took place on September 22, 1947, at a "christening" in U.S.A.
