Origin:
Bred by Charles Mallerin (France, before 1946).
Introduced in France by Meilland et Cie in 1946 as 'Alfredo Moreira da Silva'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1952 as 'Alfredo Moreira da Silva'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Lambertiana.  
Bloom:
Golden-yellow, coral-pink shading.  14 to 18 petals.  Large, semi-double to double, cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Upright.  Glossy, dark green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
The parentage is reversed in the 1954 reference by Charles Mallerin.
