The two main roses that are all over Nanyang on rose trees are called Crimson or Red Fan and Pink Fan. We know them as 'Hi-Ohgi', a 1981 hybrid tea from Seiko Suzuki of Japan and its pink sport.

Red Fan HT (Keisei, Japan).  A deep luminous verrmilion red.  The full blown blooms are particularly stunning due to their size and depth of colour.  The plant is quite heavily wooded and robust.  Hard to beat for colour impact.
