Rotary Lyon.- Strong, erect growth with good foliage, producing long-pointed buds of good form. The colour here, however, has been a decided yellow, paling towards the edges of the petals. Seems quite useful.

New Roses 1938. Rotary Lyon (HT.  C. Chambard 1936) F. 3.  Extra long buds of 25 to 35 petals, which open to unusual blooms of varyng colours.  The outer face of the petal is yellow shaded carmine with an inner face of old gold shaded carmine.  This is a totally new colour and deserves the title of novelty.  E.

Rotary Lyon HT. (Chambard, 1936) has extra long buds on long, strong stems, with a colour quite distinct from other varieties. It may be described as a shot pink on the outside with a golden pink interior. The long, narrow petals range from 25 to 35, and build up a first-class bloom
