Introduced in Australia by Treloar Roses as 'April Hamer'.
Introduced in United States by Wisconsin Roses in 1998 as 'April Hamer'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Seashell-pink, rose-pink edges. Flowers mark or blotch in rain. New foliage dark red or purplish.  Moderate fragrance.  40 petals.  Average diameter 4".  Medium, full (26-40 petals), exhibition, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  Dark green foliage.  

Height: 4'7" to 4'11" (140 to 150cm).  Width: 39" to 4'1" (100 to 125cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Can be used for cut flower, exhibition or garden.  Vigorous.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
