Blush. Strong fragrance. Very large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Armed with thorns / prickles.
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Vigorous.
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
The rose in gardens seems to be the parent 'Abel Grand', to which 'Bessie Johnson' probably sported back at one time.
