Discovered by Daniel August Schwarzkopf (Germany, before 1779).

Centifolia.  

Light pink and white, stripes.  Strong fragrance.  Average diameter 8".  Very large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  

USDA zone 4b through 8b.  

'Sultana' and 'Regina' are probably distinct roses.
See also 'Regina dicta' which is the type of 'Tuscany'. Both Regina and Regina dicta are translated as Königin-Rose (Queen's rose) in German.
