Introduced in Australia by Henry Sewell, Payneham Nurseries in 1906 as 'Reine Marguerite d'Italie'.

Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Carmine-red, vermilion center.  Strong, centifolia fragrance.  Very large, very double bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Dark green foliage.  

Height: 2' to 39" (60 to 100cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Queen Marguerite of Savoia, the first queen of Italy. According to Walter Branchi, Soupert & Notting of Luxembourg named this rose for the Queen of Italy in 1904.
